Endicott men top Curry 85-75 On Senior Day

Lone senior Chris Galbraith contributed 19 points and 11 boards and freshman Lachlan Magee (23 points, 13 rebounds) led the Gulls past the Colonels of Curry College, 85-75,  at MacDonald Gymnasium.

EL falls to Cathedral in season opener at Spartan Classic, 53-45

REPOST; Defending Western MA DI Champ East Longmeadow lost it’s season opener to Cathedral, 53-45, at the Spartan Classic held at East Longmeadow High School on December 10, 2010. Cathedral’s Jordan Monts tallied 14 points for the winners while Brandon Bosworth led the Spartan scoring effort with 12 points. While EL held a 32-23 halftime advantage, the Spartans went cold in the second half. while the Panthers outshot them 30-11 for the final margin. Rough first game for the Spartans….

Longmeadow hoopsters upend Spartans on Senior Night

The Lancers came into the Spartan house and took control of the game from the outset. Spartans seniors played their last game (at home), but fell 68-44. Brice McAllister led all scorers with 17 points. A big Spartan Cheer for Ray Holloway, Brandon Bosworth, Brett VonFlatern, and TJ Maurer. Thanks for your hard work and leadership!

The Bombers rode the hot hand of Alex Garstka, who canned  the game-winning 3 pointer with seconds left to play to edge the Spartans of East Longmeadow at ELHS in Tuesday night high school basketball action. Garstka led all scorers with 18 points. Sam Blake led the Spartans with 15 points and was big in the middle with 14 boards.
